A: We are based in Frosses, Co.Donegal and do maintenance cleans in many of the surrounding villages and towns. If you require a single contract clean with no commitment we can travel anywhere.

Q: What is the difference between the two?

A: A single clean is best described as a "spring clean" that can be done any time. We will clean ALL windows inside and out, wipe the frames and leave your windows spotless.

If you would like us to call on a regular basis, we will then do maintenance cleans to keep the windows and frames looking respectable. Maintenance cleans are usually done every month/6 weeks.Q: What method do you use to clean windows.

A: We use both traditional and modern methods to clean windows in and around Donegal. By modern methods we mean by water fed pole.

Q: What is a Water Fed Pole?

A: Imagine a brush on a long extendable pole removing the dirt from your windows. Purified Water is pumped to the brush to agitate the dirt and is then rinsed. We can reach up to 35 feet from the safety of the ground.

Q: Why can't I do it myself?

A: You can, but the results wont be the same. Let me explain. If you brushed and hosed your own windows you would remove some of the worst dirt on the windows, however, you would be guaranteed to leave countless spots all over the window.

Q: Why?

A: Drinking water in Ireland varies as to how hard or soft it is . You will notice that in hard water areas lime scale is a problem. Put simply it is the lime (dissolved solids) in the water that will leave spots on glass. Even in soft water areas, a fraction of dissolved solids will leave spotting on glass. For this reason before we clean your windows we purify the water we use through a five stage process. This removes virtually all the dissolved solids. Before the purification process, the amount of dissolved solids locally is about 105-120PPM [Particles per million]. After the process the water is 000PPM.

When we have scrubbed and rinsed the window, because there are no dissolved solids in the water, your windows dry spotless.

Q: Why are the windows left wet?

A: There is simply no need to dry them physically as there are no dissolved solids in the water. Your windows will dry perfectly clean.

Q: Will it cost me more than my regular window cleaner?

A: As in any trades prices will vary. It really depends on how professional your window cleaner is. As a rule we charge the same for cleaning Traditionally as we do for using the WFP. In fact in some cases we charge more for windows to be cleaned traditionally.

Q: What are the benefits of using a water fed pole?

A: First of all, as a customer you benefit from cleaner windows. Traditional window cleaning with detergents will leave a residue. This residue attracts dirt and grime, with a water fed pole the glass receives a deep clean, removing all of the residue left by previous window cleaning. After the initial clean less dirt will be attracted to your windows.

Q: What other benefits are there?

A: The main benefit for us is with health & safety. We do all we can to reduce risk, and by working from ground level we greatly reduce any risk of injury from falling from height. Also mean better privacey for you.

Q: How do I pay you?

A: You can pay with cash or cheque on the day of cleaning, or, if you are out when we call I will leave a bill and i will call another day usually after 6pm.
